The Good Land
Goleta is in southern Santa Barbara County. It was incorporated as a city in 2002, after a long period as the largest unincorporated populated area in the county. That has come a long way from the first land expedition to California around 1769, where explorers spent a night near a creek to the north of the Goleta estuary. At that time, the estuary was a very large open-water lagoon that covered most of what is now the city of Goleta. First called "The Good Land" by the Spanish, Goleta was once known for its rich agriculture, and smaller-scale farms still pepper the landscape. Today the area is home to the University of California at Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Airport. To learn more about this beautiful area please visit the City of Goleta website here.

Bright, Fresh Spaces
The picture on top shows a remodeling project we did for our clients in the Goleta area. You will see walnut stain cabinets coordinating with a contrasting white calacatta quartz. A lighter stone tile floor and white walls keep the space bright and fresh. And the image on the right shows the same project where we show off the green glass tile backsplash next to a textured long subway tile which adds not only color but a playful look.
Clean and modern look
The next image highlights beautiful beveled white cabinets with solid white quartz, leaving the carrara porcelain backsplash as the showstopper. The blue glass pendants give a pop of color tying everything together for a cleaner and more modern look. The stainless-steel appliances and brushed nickel touch in fixtures and hardware add the perfect contemporary touch.
Warm tones to the kitchen
The next image highlights a bold chevron marble backsplash as the focus of this contemporary kitchen. White shaker cabinets and the subtle carrara quartz countertops contrasting with a dark wood floor keep a balanced color palette. Brass fixtures, cabinet pulls and hardware on the modern Café matte white appliances bring warm tones to the space.
Harmonious bathroom design
Following you will see a bathroom remodel featuring a curbless walk-in shower with seafoam glass subway tile walls and white penny rounds on the floor. The brushed nickel finishes and frameless glass door are the perfect touches for an overall relaxing feel. On the outside, you will find beautifully crafted walnut cabinets with a dark granite countertop and softer floor tile to pull everything together in a harmonious way.
